Polyurethane Injection

Wales’ Leading Polyurethane Injection Specialists

Fast, Effective Water-Stopping for Leaking Structures

At Gwynedd Grouting, we use polyurethane injection systems to stop active water ingress and seal leaking cracks, joints and voids in concrete and masonry. Fast-reacting resins can be injected directly into affected areas using mechanical packers and pressure-controlled pumping equipment.

Unlike structural epoxy injection, polyurethane systems are primarily used for water-stopping and flexible sealing. They are particularly effective in damp or water-bearing structures and in cracks subject to limited movement.

Our Polyurethane Injection Services

We select each resin and injection method according to the rate of water flow, crack condition, substrate and required performance. Applications include:

Active Leak Sealing

Fast-foaming polyurethane resin reacts on contact with water, expanding within the crack or void to quickly restrict and stop active water ingress.

Permanent Flexible Sealing

Where required, a flexible non-foaming resin is injected after the initial water-stop to create a durable seal capable of accommodating limited movement.

Crack & Joint Injection

Low-viscosity polyurethane resin penetrates cracks, construction joints and confined gaps, sealing routes through which water could enter the structure.

Infrastructure Water-Stopping

Polyurethane injection can be used in culverts, tunnels, reservoirs, retaining walls and other difficult-to-access structures affected by persistent leakage.
